We are pleased to announce that Dennis M. Stotts has joined the firm’s Bradenton office as a senior attorney.
Mr. Stotts’ practice includes evaluating environmental risks in real property transactions and mergers and acquisitions; enforcement; permitting; rulemaking; mediation; green buildings; assessment and remediation of contamination in soil, surface water and groundwater; solid and hazardous waste treatment, storage and disposal; air pollution; mold and indoor air quality; and wetlands regulation.
Mr. Stotts is an AV-rated attorney and is a member of The American Bar Association, The Florida Bar’s Administrative Law Section and the Environmental and Land Use Law Section. He is also a member of the Florida Academy of Professional Mediators. He is LEED trained by the U.S. Green Building Council and is a member of the Florida Green Building Coalition.
Mr. Stotts has been listed in Marquis Who's Who in America, Marquis Who's Who in American Law, South Florida Legal Guide’s Top Lawyers in South Florida and Florida Super Lawyers.
Prior to practicing law, Mr. Stotts was an environmental scientist and regulator with the Florida Department of Environmental Regulation. He frequently assists clients in obtaining approvals from, and defending administrative and civil enforcement actions before, federal, state and local regulatory agencies.
